    New NinjaTrader 8.1.1.1 Live Data is Corrupt

    Hello community

    I recently updated to 8.1.1.1 version.

    I have noticed that my live footprint chart on simulation account does not look the same as when I open NinjaTrader again. And also if I right click and "Reload All Historical Data" the footprint numbers change. The reloaded data turn out to be the correct one as I have checked it with my friends with other Platforms and different Data Providers.

    Any comments?

    This problem has been reflected by me and a lot of people. but all that is received from the support team is just waiting to be processed. They said to send them the log and trace files, but I know that even sending them will not solve the problem. more than 1 month has passed, many people have complained but nothing has changed.​

      Yeah Hong.

      It's been like one month and I think that's huge lot of time for a trader to lose. This shouldn't have taken this long.

      And yet, no response or formal announcements from NinjaTrader!

        Thank you for using NinjaTrader.

        In order to try to reproduce what you are seeing it would be very helpful to see a screenshot of your settings for your chart, as well as the instrument and time frame you are looking at.

        This information is contained in your log and trace files but you can also provide screenshots of the incorrect data you are seeing here. I would like to test and reproduce this.

        I look forward to your reply.

          I have been using NT8 for more than a year and I don't see any chance that I could set my parameters wrong.

          But anyways, since you're asking, what settings do you need to see so that I would provide for you the screenshots?

              Dennis here I attach your requested screenshot.

              All you need to do to recreate this would be to connect via Simulation Data Feed provided by NinjaTrader and load any Footprint tool, since as me and my friends have tested with multipole tools, seems to not be a tool problem.

              Just load a Footprint tool, preferably a third party tool, then wait for 1 or more 5 min candles to form with live data and then compare it to any other platform or also you could easily "Reload All Historical Data" and compare the Reloaded Data with the Live Data. The footprint numbers will probably change.

              Also please note that out observations suggest that the tools are correctly plotting the data flowing on the T&S List and this further more directs our suspicion towards that it's data related, not the tools.

              As we have tested, the Historical Data provided by the NinjaTrader is identical to all platforms with the most reliable data feeds.

              I wish I could provide for the other platforms or Data Providers we used to compare the date but unfortunately I don't have access to those platforms as I mentioned, they were my friends platforms. But I can send you a recorded Live session comparing NinjaTrader with multiple platforms and Data Providers which is the source to our conclusion that the Simulated Data Feed from NinjaTrader is corrupt.

                One thing I want to point out is that you mentioned the "Simulated Data Feed" if this is the feed you are using then this is not live data. This data is created locally on your PC and is meant for testing strategies.

                If you want live market data you will need to connect to a live feed.

                Just to be clear is the "Simulated Data Feed" what you are connecting to or the "Simulation" connection which correlates to live data? In the meantime, I will test this.

                    the author used real data from Ninja trader 8 himself (fee 12 usd per month) and still facing the problem of displaying wrong bid-ask price. Meanwhile, with rithmic data from earn2trade, he has absolutely no problem. you answered that simulated data is not real data, so what the hell are you creating simulation data for when it's completely different from reality?​

                          Hello good afternoon, I switched to the latest version of ninjatrader 8 and when I open a chart and give reload, I see that the values or numbers in Footprint or Order flow change, I closed and reopened the NT 8 and the numbers do not match, imbalances, absorptions, marks them elsewhere and with erroneous data, the delta does not match when the platform is restarted, that when it is in real time. Can you help me to solve this problem since I come from NT 7 which was left forgotten along with their customers who had everything mounted, strategies and indicators.
