    Locked out for 1 hour

    Ive been playing with NT to add a sim account and now I have been locked out for 1 hour for login attempts. Why 1 hour? How do I fix this.

    Are you telling me I cannot login more than 16 times before getting this error. What if I am testing things and have to disconnect multiple times. I will be locked out even tho my login and password is correct? seems outrageous!

    Maybe instead of a lockout we should be offered the option to receive a code via message or email to reset the login attempt count.

      I can understand lock out for failed attempts. But for normal testing where you need to close the system and restart there is no reason for limiting login attempts. And why 1 hour holy crap!

        There should be a way (and hopefully NinjaTrader will provide this in the next build) to IMMEDIATELY unlock the account and set a new password by completing MFA.

          They should have the option of code send to phone only (like a bank) or email only and not default both. That is part of the problem that can lead to failed logins.

            hehe we mentioned the same thing an email unlock code would be needed. glad to hear i'm not the only one that questioned this even before it happened... i'm sure ninjatrader will come up with something ...

            I hit this issue day 1 when the new build dropped. Hopefully in the future they will let vendors do some testing
