Question about HeikenAshi

Hi,

The Heikin Aski Chart in NinjaTrader 8 is totally different than the Heikin Ashi Chart in NinjaTrader 7.

I like to get the same Heikin Ashi chart like it is in Ninjatrader 7.

I miss the bar size input.

I know they can be found in data series under candlestick types. But I am looking for the exact same indicator from Ninja Trader 7. It was not a 3rd party add on. It was included in Ninja Trader 7 from the start.

Hello NQ Woman,

Unfortunately there is no Heiken Ashi indicator present in NinjaTrader 8. It is present under Type in the Data Series menu. Once set to Heiken Ashi, you will see 2 new settings - Base period type/value. These settings allow you to determine the base for Heiken Ashi bars.

When I test it on my end, I don't get totally different data.
