Feature Request - Intraday Margin Increase Transparency within the platform

I would like to request a Built in List in the platform under the "Tools" header containing information regarding,

EXATLY which Key Economic Releases Trigger an Intra-day Margin Increase, EXACLY which Markets are Effected by the Margin Increase & the Time for which the Margin Increase Occurs

As far as I can see there is NO such list anywhere on your Website - Account Management portal or Platform
Not even a list which includes the EXACT Key Economic News Announcements which are effected

The website states Key Economic News Announcements 15 minutes before to APROXIMATELY 5 minutes following, but falls short of exactly which events and which instruments are directly affected? lack of transparency is creating confusion!

I believe that transparency in this regard will greatly enhance the user experience & limit unnecessary losses due to trader ignorance directly caused by the lack of transparently provided by NinjaTrader Broker.

Thanks for the feedback here. I will note this to our product team where this is an ongoing discussion. I am sure you are aware, but for others reading your can also find a list of economic news events from our Order Desk under your account dashboard page.

OK great Ryan, at least a clear list somewhere would be great and I think essential as to date I have never been made aware of anywhere that I can access a page which lists Exactly which news events cause a margin increase for which instruments.
I contacted support not to long after the implementation of intra-day margins to enquire if CL futures would be effected and nobody could tell me anything, so a page which Clearly states the details is a must please.

I agree with torento . It makes sense to look at the dashboard for planning the trading day, but I'm looking for something that shows on the trading platform while I am trading. It is easy to monitor excess intraday margin and excess initial margin on the accounts tab, but nothing in the platform indicates which margin scheme is in play at that time. My preference is to have the columns currently in force to be highlighted in some way - maybe with a blinking initial margin column for 60 seconds before the higher rate comes into effect.

Also, In the same way I can set maximum daily and weekly drawdown in the ninjabrokerage profile, I want a checkbox that says, "Deny opening trades near session close and high volatility news events." It seems silly to allow a trader to open a trade, only to have it automatically closed micro-seconds later and then to fine them for the privilege. I have used other brokerages that implement some kind of curb that pops up a message that says, "you don't have sufficient margin to enter this trade."

It's great that Ninjatrader - NinjaBrokerage has this forum for group feedback to make the system work well for all of us.
