    Can Anyone Disentangle This Mess

    Final Edit: Never Mind - done with ninja trader - no tech support - hours with customer service rep fixes nothing just round and round with no resolution nothing making sense - uninstalled platform never coming back to this company

    Hi - can anyone tell me what is going on:
    1) Had old NT version on computer from number of years ago - don't remember anything about it, but never had account at NT.
    2) Want to use a 3rd party indicator only written to use on NT8.
    3) Uninstalled Old NT
    4) Signed up on NT this morning (did not remember ever using a NT trial in past, so thought this was all fresh)
    5) Was told by a NT Rep that I can sign up for the SIM account and the 3rd party indicator would install and I'd get 2 weeks free data and after the 2 weeks I would have to pay for the CME data.
    6) Once logged in I had 2 choices: SIM or LIVE Download - downloaded SIM.
    7) Clicked on NT Icon, entered username and password and clicked log in.
    8) Two large boxes appeared, one to left to create workspaces and one to right a trading dome -- but in the middle of that ERROR Message that my password and username were invalid and log in failed. Clicked on the left big box and it wouldn't respond.
    9) Immediately got an Email from NT that my contact information changed and it listed what changed: First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number. My name has been the same my whole life, so even if I had a trial a number of years ago, my name would not have changed.
    10) Rep told me to ignore the email as that gets mistakenly sent out.
    11) Rep told me that the Error message of invalid Password and Username after login into platform is because I had a trial in the past, so I have to apply online to open an account and fund the account.
    12) So, first I was told the SIM account could work if I purchased the CME Data, now I'm told I have to apply online to open an account. Rep said he didn't know I had a Demo Account.
    13) Logged into NT, it says SIM Demo Account and has pretend money of 50k.
    14) I don't remember having 3 choices of Demo Account, Sim Account, Live Account. I only remember 2 choices: Sim or Live, so I chose Sim so I could test out the 3rd party indicator and then expected to pay for the data after 2 weeks.
    15) Does anyone know what is going on?
    16) If there is a difference between a SIM Account and a SIM Demo Account, how do I cancel out the SIM Demo Account and open a Regular Sim Account?
    17) EDIT: FYI: I went to NT website, then to "Platform" tab, then to "Simulation" then to "Get Started" then to "Sign Up" where I entered my email and went from there. But, the original tab on the website was "Platform" then from the drop down menu chose "Simulation" then signed up from there. Now everything is a mess.
