This option is expected to be greyed out while you are in Multi Provider mode unless you are actively connected to the new NinjaTrader account connection using your Account Dashboard credentials. Otherwise, if you take the platform out of Multi Provider mode, this option will also be available to you after signing in on the splash screen.

what is multi-provider mode and how do i take the platform out of it? what is the new NinjaTrader account connection? I need a longer answer

Thank you for your reply.

Multi provider mode is what allows you to access all of the various account connection technologies from within the Connections menu, rather than just connecting to your NinjaTrader Brokerage account through the initial login screen. It is akin to the connections process that NinjaTrader had prior to update. You can enable and disable it from within the Tools > Options menu.

With that said, it's perfectly fine to use the Multi Provider mode but if you want to access the Client Dashboard option, you simply need to build out your NinjaTrader connection with the new NinjaTrader Continuum. You can do so using your Account Dashboard credentials following the guide at the link below;

You would use this new connection in lieu of the previous NinjaTrader Continuum connection to establish a connection to your NinjaTrader Brokerage account.
