Live account does not show in the Desktop version!

My live account is not showing today on the Desktop version. It was working fine last Friday.

The Global Simulation Mode is checked and grayed out, i.e. cannot be unchecked.

To the right of the Help button is an “Open Live Account” button, suggesting that the Desktop version does not recognize that I have a live account. I have a lifetime license.

The Web version recognizes I have a live account and also that I have a lifetime license.

I’m not sure if this has anything to do with my installing and then uninstalling 8.1.1.1 yesterday, and then reinstalling 8.0.27.1.

How do I bring back my live account to the Desktop version?

Hello,

I suspect your license key was removed during the uninstall process. To restore, go to Help>License Key and copy and paste in your live lifetime key. You'll need to restart the platform to make this change take effect.

Note you may need to disable global simulation mode before being able to change the account in your account drop down menu.

The license key is still showing in Control center > Help > License Key.

How do I disable Global Simulation Mode when it is grayed out? I cannot uncheck it.

Hi,

It is working now. I just noticed that the License Key was a sim license key(?). I replaced it with my lifetime license key and was then able to uncheck the Global Simulation Mode.

My live account is back.
