Strategy Builder Strategy gone

Hello I was using strategy builder to make a strategy and I wanted to add something recommended to the code. So I opened ninjascript editor made an adjustment and compiled. I found a better way to get what I was trying to accomplish done through strategy builder but now I don't even see the strategy I was working on in strategy buidler. Thanks in advance

Hello Prestonf,

When you unlock a strategy that was made in the builder you would have to manually code it from that point on. There is not a way to go back to using the builder. You would need to re create the strategy in the builder if you wanted to start using the builder again.

For future reference you can use the following steps if you wanted to try something in manual coding but still use the builder.

In the strategy builder from the first screen where you select the strategy, open the drop down menu and hover the mouse over the strategy in question. Click Save As and give it a new name. Open the copy you made and unlock the copy. That will leave the original strategy in place so you have a restore point to continue using the builder if manual coding didn't work out.
