Sim101 account does not appear on clean install of 8.1.1.1

    Sim101 account does not appear on clean install of 8.1.1.1

    When I connect to "Simulation" connection, the Sim101 account does not appear after the connection is successful

    Maybe it is because it is outside of market hours?

      Do you see any account listed in the Accounts tab? If not, can you go to ninjatrader.com and "Login" which takes you to the Dashboard. Do you see an simulation account there like in the image?

        My screenshot shows the accounts tab, and it does not show any simulation account. When I login to the website, I only see a LIVE account on the dashboard. It is the only choice in the dropdown. How can I get a simulation account? It used to be there before

          Thanks for the information. I am at a loss then. I will escalate this however, there likely will not be a response until early next week as this needs to go to development. In the interim, I believe you can do the following:

          - Tools > Options -> General - Enable "Multi-provider mode"
          - To you will have to configure a NinjaTrader connection via the Connection menu --> Configure, select "NinjaTrader' enter your account credentials, you can select Live or Simulation under Account Type
          - Then when you connect to this, the SIM101 account should display

          This is the client side SIM101 account that you are probably used to. When multi-provider mode is disabled, then when you connect into your simulation connection, its a server-side simulation account that you will be trading through
          RayNinjaTrader Customer Service

            Ah, thank you. When I enabled Multi-provider mode it was there again.

              Hi,

              You can add a server side simulation account within your dashboard, unlike the SIM101 account which is limited to the Desktop, the server side simulation account is accessible through Desktop, Web and Mobile.
