    NT 8 - Market Depth Map

    Hi
    I have my lifetime license and I wish to start using "market depth map" indicator

    I use rithimic as data feed,
    as I understood I need "level 2" datas to use the market depth map" into the chart

    my question is: do I need also to enable into data series the "tick replay" ?

    cause normally is quite annoyiing and slow down the entire pc and ninjatrader startup

    but market depth change at bar close

    no sense

      Thank you for the message.

      Yes, you do need to have Level 2 Market Data for the Order Flow Market Depth map to work as expected.

      No, the Order Flow Market Depth map does NOT need to have "Tick Replay" enabled. This will not benefit this indicator so there is no need to use it.

      The Order Flow Market Depth Map plots the values on the chart using the incoming real-time market data and it is then drawn on the chart. If you change or reload this chart, it will restart the Market Depth Map.

      The Market Depth Map should be updating with any new ticks coming in. Please try using it on an active instrument like the ES 03-23 or NQ 03-23 and check if it is updating as expected.

        I'm using ES 03-23
        and is not updating at every tick

        it update at bar close.

        like this is useless

          nothing to do
          every single indicator in ninja, for lifetime license users, is very very poor and I have to find something else.

            If the Order Flow Market Depth map is still not updating as expected, please use the steps below to send us a message with your log and trace files attached so we may look into this behavior further:
            • Go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support
            • Select: Platform Technical Support
            • Email: Enter the correct email as this is what we will respond to
            • Enter the subject as: Clayton ATTN 03785992"
            • Attach: User you phone or a screen capture software to record a video of how the Order Flow Market Depth map is working and attach that to your message.
            • Include any additional information in the Body as desired
            • Ensure the "Log and trace files" box is checked
              • Send the email
            ​We look forward to your response and resolving your inquiry.

              with video url made with loom

              you can see when bar close, how all market depth change all at once, on 15 minutes and 5 minutes chart

                just to let other users know: email support was gross. whoever answered has no idea how market depth should work nor was he able to understand the example video that was sent to him, he tried to distract my attention on another addon, not supplied by the ninja, for no reason. suggests solutions without head or tail, more to make you waste time

                  That's awful,
                  Post up your settings and video making sure to have no personal data visible.
                  The forum can help I'm sure.
                  I have market depth working fine here,but I do use CQG for my data.

                    I start to think is a Rithmic data limitation, I should ask more users with rithimic if they have the same issue

                    setting is on "each tick",
                    but the market depth update on each tickj, but
                    erase and restart at bar close

                      Do you have Level 2 Data with Rithmic?

                      You can open a new work space.
                      Load a new chart, default settings.
                      Instrument ES
                      1 min chart, 1 day of data
                      Load Orderflow market depth map indicator.
                      Default settings.
                      Change 1 parameter.
                      Market depth levels from 10 to 1000.
                      And apply.

                      Following this exact process works perfectly for me
