Problems login into NinjaTrader 8.1 on Windows 7

Hello,

I can't seem to log into NT8.1 on Windows 7. No Problems logging in on Windows 10. I have .net 4.8 installed on Windows 7.

After loading NT 8, entering login credentials, the program just hangs and nothing further happens. The login screen just stays on the screen with no further interaction.

Is it such that NT8 requires Win 10 and won't run on Win 7?

I can't update this particular computer (laptop) to windows 10 because of a video card driver issue.

Unfortunately NinjaTrader is not supported on Windows 7 as it is no longer supported by Microsoft, and therefore is missing critical updates regarding SSL certificates that will prevent NinjaTrader from connecting.

You would need to update to any supported version of Windows to resolve this.

NinjaTrader 7 has no end of life date at this time, although no updates/features are being implemented beyond its current functionality. Demo data feeds from NinjaTrader will no longer operate on NinjaTrader 7 as well.

Since Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft it is not supported on any version of NinjaTrader. While you may be able to connect if certain PC adjustments have been made we do not recommend doing so as this may result in unexpected behavior and is unsupported.
