Alert doesent work in Taskbar

Hi,

its strange, everytime i close ninjatrader to the taskbar, the alert is off. When i open Ninjatrader up, the alarm works fine.

anyone got a similar problem and know the solution? i would be very happy.

To clarify is this Alert configured on a chart?

Also please provide a screenshot of your alert settings:

• To send a screenshot with Windows 10 or newer I would recommend using the Windows Snipping Tool.
  • Click here for instructions
• Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save it as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

This would be an Alert within a 3rd party indicator.

You will need to reach out to the developer to troubleshoot further.

If needed they may reach out to our Scripting Support Team to assist them in troubleshooting.

thank you for your answer but they said "we are just using ninjatraders alert system for that alert"

so what can i do now? when i put it into the taskbar and open it up after 2 hours, all the alerts came together

allright.. i dont think that will happen.

Do any other of you guys got a solution for this? this seemd not a third party bug, this is a ninjatrader but, because normal alerts got the same problem.

I can confirm that manually created Alerts still function on minimized windows in the most recent version of NinjaTrader.

I wanted to jump in and give some more insight.

Specifically, this developer has likely not designed this script to take advantage of IsSuspendedWhileInactive set to false.

The script code will need to be changed to allow the script to keep running when the chart is minimized to the task bar or the tab is not in focus.
