Trying register new account with email

Long timer user trying to register a new account using
my email address, but the registration ignores me when
I click the 'Sign Up' button.

All I really want to do is download the new release, but
it seems I can't -- unless I create an account first.

I'm using my Yahoo email address, and I'm using Firefox
    110.0.1 on Windows 7 64-bit.

I'll try with Chrome and report back.

    Ah, Chrome behaves different.

After I clicked 'Sign up' button,
Chrome paused, went grey in places, and then asked
me to click on a Captcha box to prove my human
ancestral roots -- and then -- it worked!

Ah, apparently, I already have an account.

Nonetheless, why does Firefox just sit there and
do nothing when I click on the 'Sign Up' button?

[I have some FF extensions installed, I will try again
    using safe-mode and report back.]

      Ah-hah!

Using Firefox with safe mode makes a difference.

      I used Win-R and executed 'firefox --safe-mode'.

The registration page quickly came to tell me my
      email address was registered.

I will pursue privately, but with low priority.

I will update this thread if I find anything interesting.

I use three browsers on the same system: Brave, Firefox and Vivaldi. I can login successfully on Firefox. If I try to login on either Brave or Vivaldi, I receive this message: "You have 2-factor authentication enabled and are logging in from a new machine. Please check your email to approve this machine.". ... ... Huh?!

No email ever arrives. I have not ever (knowingly) set up 2FA, mainly because it's never been there, as far as I know. So, on the very same system, I cannot login on 2 of my 3 browsers.

Please advise how to overcome this error.

EDIT: It seems that the emails have taken nearly an hour to be delivered! They arrived ... eventually, but performance aspects seem to have been less than needed to manage this efficiently?

        Thanks.

          Hello All,

          Thank you for your feedback.

2FA is enabled by default with the NinjaTrader Account Dashboard.

This will be triggered anytime a new device or browser is trying to log into your account.

This can be managed via the Settings > Security tab in the Account Dashboard.

I will also relay the information about the delayed 2FA emails to our team.

          Thanks again!
