Online help system defaults to Spanish with a Ecuador IP address...but...

    Online help system defaults to Spanish with a Ecuador IP address...but...

    but my primary language is English...it takes me much longer to read the Spanish

    at the top of the welcome page for the help system, I don't see a toggle for English.

    so, what I do is to login to a VPN with a US address...

    Hello llanqui,

    Go to www.ninjatrader.com. In the upper left click Language (idioma) -> select English.

      Well, what I mean is when I press F1 when I'm writing code in Ninjatrader....it takes me to the online help system (for example for Ninjascript) that does not have a language option.

      In my case it defaults to Spanish (being in Ecuador) and the only way to get it to English is to use a VPN, which I don't normally have active.

        That is correct. The help guide language has to be changed on the main ninjatrader website following the instructions I have posted in post # 2.

          Ok, I get it. I'll have to open www.ninjatrader.com each time I open the browser and manually set the language to English, then when I press F1 in Ninjatrader the help system will open in English.

          Probably the home page is setting a cookie to indicate the language and because I have the browser delete cookies on exit I'll have to reset this every time.

          I guess the expectation is that the browser does not clear the cookies on exit.

            Hello llanqui,

            These are both correct. The home page sets the language option in the cookie. And yes, it uses a cookie that will be reset if you clear cookies.

              in my case I don't usually go to the Ninja home page before I go to the Help system... :-)
