Using third party Level 2 data with NinjaTrader's Static DOM

Hello,

I have a lifetime License with NT8 and I am currently trading a funded account with an online prop firm. I have to be connected to their Rithmic connection to use my account with them.
They offer level 2 data packages which I am interested in purchasing.

If I purchase their level 2 data package, can that data be used on the Static DOM feature or can I only use the Static DOM with data purchased from Ninjatrader?

Additionally, if the latter is correct, would it be possible to have my Continuum connection (with Level 2 applied) and my Rithmic connection on simultaneously?

In reality, I am just trying to keep from purchasing additional software/third party such as Jigsaw for the time being to save some costs.

Thank you for the message.

If you are getting Level 2 Market data from NinjaTrader Brokerage, then it would be easiest to just keep using that market data feed, although you don't have to.

If you were to reach out to your Rithmic based broker and let them know you want to be enabled for Level 2 Market data, then they could activate it and it would be able to be used within your NinjaTrader platform the same way the NinjaTrader Brokerage data is.

There is no way to combine the data feeds or get the same type of data from both connections at the same time. You can get your Futures Data from one connection or the other.

• By default, NinjaTrader will use the data from the connection that is established First, even if it isn't actively enabled for the real-time market data.
• So, you will want to make sure you either connect to your desired market data provider first, and then connect to the 2nd connection for the additional account.
• Or, set up the "Preferred Market Data by Provider" so the NinjaTrader platform will use the market data from the feed you specify no matter the connection order.
