NT7 script add on doesn't work in NT8

Hello, I have a couple of add ons that I used in NT 7 and recently tried to add them to NT8 and they have an error messgae.
I found the error notice and it appears there a lot of line errors.
Is there anyone that may be able to help?

Welcome to the forums!

The concept of an 'AddOn' is new to NT8, the older NT7 did not
support the 'AddOn' type.

NT7 has Indicator and Strategy.
NT8 has Indicator and Strategy, and new plugin type called 'AddOn'.

You can convert your NT7 Indicator and Strategy objects to NT8,
but it will require programmings skills and a good knowledge of
NT7 to NT8 porting. Many things have changed.

You can try looking here for a tool that helped other people
migrate their NT7 code to NT8.

Be aware,
You must have all the original NT7 source code in order to perform
a successful conversion to NT8.

Hello, thanks for writing in. bltdavid is correct here, you would need to fully convert NinjaTrader 7 code to NinjaTrader 8 in order for the addons to work. See the code breaking changes here:

Hi BLT and Chris,
Many thxs for the reply, as you can probably guess program skills is not my strong point.
No I don't have the original, a friend back in the day gave them too me by email and I "uploaded" them.
I have poked around the NT forum and Futures Io so I' will see if I can find something similar.
