Input for entry time in Strategy Builder

Is there a way to have an input for Time of entry in Strategy Builder? Or it has to be in C#? See image below.

You may use a time filter for your entries in the Strategy Builder. For more information about creating a time filter condition:

My colleague has created an example strategy using the builder that places orders within a designated start time and end time. The start and end times are set up as a user input like you have described. The example may be found here and after downloading, it can be imported at Control Center > Tools > Import > NinjaScript Addon so you may then open and view it in the Strategy Builder:

Stil does not answer my question how to create an Input so I can optimize the Time Value . I've created a "TIME INPUT" (see image below) in the Inputs and Variables window. In most cases the Input created can be retrieved by clicking "SET" in the Conditions window (See example below) but in the Time condition It does not give me an option to "SET" so I can refer the Time input. See last image below. Thanks.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using? This may be found at Control Center > Help > About. The latest version is 8.0.27.1, so if you are on a version older than that let me know and I will gladly provide you with the instructions to update the platform.

There should be a folder below the Time folder for "User input" as shown in the following screenshot:

Depending on the size of your Strategy Builder window, you may need to scroll down in order to see it and select it.
