    "unable to write readonly database"

    Once again same issue
    "unable to write readonly database"
    error.
This time if I try to add an instrument from the tools list and then click okay I get this error again
Then I randomly get it when I connect playback

I I have completely deleted the ninja 8 documents folder removed anything ninja trader, reboot and reinstalled it and it's still doing it
I have renamed the error file many times but it just makes a new one this is extremely frustrating and I'm hoping someone may be able to do remote TeamViewer or I'm not sure but I need this fixed I'm trying to trade live account.
    Thanks James

    Hello Speculation101,

Thank you very much for your post.

Please contact us at support (at) ninjatrader (dot) com in this regard, we could then schedule a remote support session with one of our technicians.

When contacting us via email, please also attach your log & trace files to your message, this allows us to investigate the error further and assess what might be causing it prior to our call.

You can do this by following the steps below:
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders
Thanks in advance; I look forward to your email!

      These symptoms scream OneDrive.

What is the full pathname of your 'NinjaTrader 8' folder?

      It should be,
      C:\Users\<username>\Documents\NinjaTrader 8

Does your folder name follow that exact model?

[I'm making an educated guess -- if OneDrive is not involved,
my apologies -- must be something else, maybe A/V software?]

      -=o=-

Users who deviate from that folder location really need to
      know what they're doing.

Users who deviate from that folder location with OneDrive
are usually 1) innocent victims of OneDrive's hijacking of
your system, and 2) OneDrive not aware how intensely
NT8 uses the 'NinjaTrader 8' folder, causing conflicts
when OneDrive tries to sync with the cloud.

      Solution?
Relocate 'NinjaTrader 8' out of OneDrive's clutches, or tell
OneDrive to keeps its cotton picking hands completely off
      your 'NinjaTrader 8' folder.

      This sometimes involves reinstalling NinjaTrader.

          Well, that's good news.

Please let us now how your TeamViewer remote session goes.

Very curious what it could be ...
