Adding Opening Range Indicator to SuperDom

Apologies if this question is answered elsewhere. Is there an opening range indicator that will display on the SuperDom? I have 2 OR indicators that show as available indicators in the SD, however neither will plot on the ladder. Not sure why.

    Thank you.

    Hello RobEB,

    Thank you for your post.

By default NinjaTrader does not have any Opening Range indicators for the SuperDOM. I would recommend reaching out to the Developer as they will be expert on their piece of software.

You may also attempt to find an Opening Range indicator from our User App Share that may work with the SuperDOM window,

Here is a basic guideline of how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

    To Import:
    1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
    2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
    3. Select the downloaded .zip file
    4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:
    • Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Here is a short video demonstration of the import process:

Thank you Spencer. I'm a first time poster, but long time user. As I said in my first post I have 2 separate OR indicators, see one below. They both show as available in the SD indicator list, however neither will populate on the SD.

Not sure why and wondering if anyone knows of an OR indicator that will work in the SD.

      Thank you.

        Hello RobEB,

        Thank you for your post.

The Opening Range indicator shown in your screenshot is not default to NinjaTrader and you we recommend reaching out to the developer to troubleshoot further.
