CME Data for dxfeed on Ninjatrader

hi,

Any idea why we cannot get CME data via dxfeed on Ninjatrader?

For some reason we can only get us equities and options data via dxfeed for ninjatrader while CME data is available for every other platform on the dxfeed website.

Any plans of adding CME data soon?

Thank you for your note.

This thread was originally started in the NinjaScript File Sharing section of the forums, though it does not appear to be related to NinjaScript so I have moved it to the Technical Support topic instead. That being said, dxfeed is not managed by NinjaTrader and seems to be a third party who you are receiving data from, so you will need to reach out to them directly for more information about how their product works.

Hi Emily,

I have already contacted dxfeed about this and this is what they told me:

"I’m afraid that the data from the CME exchange is not yet offered via NinjaTrader, but we are planning to add it in the future.

We would also highly appreciate it if you could reach out to NinjaTrader directly and show your interest in using our data feed via their platform. It would help to speed up the process of integration."

That's why I mentioned it on here. Hopefully this can be added soon.

From my understanding, dxfeed is an unsupported 3rd party vendor and you would need to direct all inquiries to them directly. Per the quote you shared, they mentioned they are planning to add CME in the future which should answer your question about "Any plans of adding CME data soon?" As for a timeline, we do not have that information and you would still need to get that information from dxfeed. If they are interested in becoming a vendor in the NinjaTrader Ecosystem, they may certainly reach out for more information. There is a "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the following page if they are interested:

As for data from the CME exchange, this is fully supported by NinjaTrader and the NinjaTrader brokerage has CME products available. If this is something that interests you, I could get you more information about which supported providers offer data for CME products.
