Time and sales - between background

Hi, does anyone know what the "between background" option in the times and sales refers to?, that it is executed between the bid and ask?, and if so, how can a trade be executed between the bid and ask?

It applies to trades that occurred between the bid and ask price. This happens when a buyer and seller have an agreement to trade at a price that is not exactly the same as the current bid or ask price.

Thank you very much for your reply!!! Excuse my ignorance, but I am curious. If in each instant there is only one bid and ask price, how is it possible that it is executed at a price that is not the bid/ask price of that instant? what circumstances can make this happen that you tell me?

The buyer and seller have an agreement to trade at a price that is different than the ask or bid price. If you need more information on this topic, please contact the exchange where the instrument is traded.
