Alert when current bar closes above (or below) the prev bar

Is it possible to create an alert where by; if the current bar closes above the prev bar, create audio alert & (vice versa) if the current bar closes below the prev bar, create an audio alert.

If so, would the steps be the same for time based bars (ie 5 mn) & non-time based bars (ie renko) alike?

Thank you very much for your post.

I would suggest the following alert settings to accomplish this - I've split the alert in two, to ensure that both alerts could potentially trigger:



The first alert would trigger if the current price (Close) crosses below the high of the same data series 1 bar ago, whereas the second triggers if it crosses above the low of 1 candle ago.

As both alerts are set to rearm on bar close, they could then trigger once per bar, regardless of what granularity your chart is set to.
