Correct Settings for Trade Detector - OBC?

Hi,

The default parameter for Trade Detector is On Bar Close.

Is this correct. Seems like it should be On Price Change at least, otherwise it would not show the trades until after the candle has formed?

Hello gaz0001,

There is no "correct" setting. If set to 'On bar close', the indicator will be calculated at the end of the price bar. If set to 'On price change', it calculates on each price change. If set to 'On each tick', the indicator is calculated on each tick.

You can save the desired setting as default as follows.

• Configure the 'Calculate' setting as you like.
• Click template-->save in the lower right corner.
• Click 'Save as Default' in the new window that opens.

If you apply the Order Flow Trade Detector in another chart, it will use the 'Calculate' setting you just saved.
