NtDirect vs email for Tradstation

I know that support for the dll is being discontinued, but today I happen to ask a broker who is running both the dll and email trades from Tradestation what his time was to get an order completed from send to fill notification. I didn't necessarily expect him to tell me using the TS-NT hookup, but that's what he did. He said the time using the dll was 200 ms and for the email connection was 680 ms. That's why we have been using the dll. That is a considerable increase in time to get an order filled. Has Ninjatrader ever looked at this?
