Bracket Limit Order Issue

Hello bankavaselina,
Thank you very much for your post.
If both orders were OCO-connected, e.g. by submitting them as an ATM strategy, the second order should indeed automatically cancel as the first one fills.
If this is not the case, please contact us through the platform directly, and we can take a closer look at this behavior.
You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support
Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief notice in the email including the following information:- ATTN 03659570
- The Order ID of an order this occurred on or the exact time/date, you may find this in the Executions tab or under New > Trade Performance.

Hi again,
Please correct me if I'm wrong, when you have an open bracket limit order and you close Ninjatrader, and let's say your target gets filled, the stop would not automatically cancel?

Hello bankavaselina,
With Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage connections the OCO (one cancels other) functionality is locally simulated on your PC. This means that NinjaTrader must be open and connected to your broker in order for the OCO capability to function. If you are disconnected and one of the orders defined in the OCO function is filled, the other WILL NOT be cancelled.
Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Great! Thanks for clarifying! What is the way to set a limit bracket order where if I close the platform both order work, the one that gets cancelled if target or loss gets filled?
Thanks a lot for your help, it's greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, this option is not available with "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage" connections and for this to trigger NinjaTrader would need to be open and connected to your account.
I have provided a link below to our Support Forum that goes over Where Orders Reside for each connection.Christopher J.NinjaTrader Customer Service
