    Error(Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage)- Check your Account connection parameters

    Hi,

    I am new to Ninja and am trying to connect NinjaTrader 8 to Rithmic but continually getting connection failed errors. I have entered all the credentials etc. per instructions (I am using via ApexTrader). I am also using RTrader Pro.
    I am using the instructions provided as per following:


    I was using my laptop earlier and everything was working fine. However, I needed to change my old hard disk I installed as per the steps by ApexTrader including Rtrader Pro and NinjaTrader8.

    I have attached the last log file as well.

    Kindly advise for a solution.

    Please know that the Forum is a publicly facing location and we do not recommend uploading the Log or Trace files from your platform here as it may include Private or Sensitive information.
    • I checked the files you uploaded and there isn't anything Sensitive in this log, but moving forward, if you ever need to send log and trace file please send them directly to our support team at Support (AT) NinjaTrader (DOT) com

    If you followed every step of the Connection Guide linked above and you are still unable to connect, it would be best to take this conversation out of the forum as we will need to discuss private and personal information.

    Pease send us an email at Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and '03657246 ATTN Clayton' in the Subject line.
    • Please take a picture of the R|Trader Pro "Login" window before you click to log into that platform and of the NinjaTrader > Connections window with your "Apex" connection settings shown and then include both of those pictures in your message to Support.
    Additionally, please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under My Documents.
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      Thanks Clayton for your detailed response and making me aware of the risks associated with sending trace/log files publicly.

      I would follow the directives and would send you the relevant information requested soon.

        I am having same issue as Merc888, connection is not getting establish. How to resolve it.

          Hello aminessa,

          Thank you for the message.

          Please restart your Modem, Router, and PC. Then reopen NinjaTrader and check your Username and Password and then try connecting again.


          If you are still unable to connect, please scroll up and look at my prior post about sending in your files and information directly into NinjaTrader support if you are still unable to connect after following along with the connection guide.
