stop loss size after scaling out?

if I scaled out 2/3 of my position, but after that my stop loss (still had 3 in the label) hit, would I be selling 1, or 3 which make me entering into a new position for the opposite side?

    Hello ndt01,

    Thank you for the post.

In this scenario, it would enter you into a position of 2 in the opposite direction. You would need to make sure that when you are scaling out, you have the active ATM Strategy selected so that it adjusts the stop loss and profit target values along with the position.

If you go to the ATM Strategy menu and select None, rather than selecting the one with the lightning bolt next to it, it will only scale you out of the position but will not adjust the stop loss and profit targets accordingly.

You can find more information about setting up your ATM Strategies at the link below:

Please let me know if you have any further questions.
