While running strategies in Playback, NT is auto closing and disabling the strategy at seemingly random times (see attachment). What could be causing auto close/flattening/disabling at random times in Playback?

Thank you for your post!
Do you happen to have the "Auto close position" function enabled in your Tools > Options > Trading tab in the platform?
If so, this setting still functions while connected to the Playback Connection. Therefore, if you this enabled, when you are at that time in the Playback Connection on the Playback Controller, it will auto close and disable the strategy. The reason it seems like it is at random times is because it shows the current PC clock time in the log, not the time on the Playback Controller.
