8.0.27 slow / crashes strategy analyzer?

Hi there,

I just installed the new version and experiencing the forever blue circle with the strategy analyzer after running 6 months of optimization. It will eventually come back, but I'm so frustrated with it so I just kill NT altogether and relaunch. It's unusable as it is.

Hello, thanks for writing in. 6 month of optimization is a very long time depending on how many variables you are testing. Try the SampleMACrossover strategy in a backtest over the same amount of time and if this completes with no issue, then its just the strategy you are using and it will take this long unless you reduce the optimization parameters or the data.
