ATM order management via OIF files

Is it possible to place an order with ATM stop/target strategy using price function and via oif files while the strategy is not set in ninjatrader in advance? in another word can I somehow specify target and stop when I order the entry via oif?

You can place ATM strategies with the file interface. In the documentation, see the Place command and a description of the place command in the second link:

however my question is not answered in those sections. I find the information in "Place" to be somehow conflicting with the quote "Strategy template name (must exist in NinjaTrader)" in Available Parameters and Valid Values section. The question I have is: is there a way to place a new strategy order via oif, while that strategy does not already exist in ninjatrader?

Hello, thanks for the follow up. The ATM template needs to exist prior to submitting the order. You must create and save the template in the interface, then reference that exact string name when you submit the Place command via the file interface.
