    v27.1 Close Workspace Save

    See attached.
    When I chose Close to Exit the Default Workspace, it brings up the attached Message telling me changes to the Default won't be saved (logical) and asks me if I want to Save under another name with choices OK or Cancel. I click OK and it just exits without saving and without bringing up a File Explorer window and Save As. The same as Cancel. So I have lost my changes. So I have to know in advance and choose Save As rather than Close.

    Or am I missing something?

    Hello brucerobinson,

    Thanks for your note.

    To save a workspace you could hover your mouse over the workspace you want to save in the Workspaces menu and click 'Save as'. This will create a new workspace with the changes you made saved to that workspace.

      Hello Brandon & thanks.
      Yes, I know how to Save, Save as thanks.
      I was installing 27 and hadn’t used the Pre-configured templates before & hadn’t yet copied my own in so used the Futures.
      What (I think) I encountered didn’t seem to make User-interface logic sense (it seemed OK & Cancel would do same thing) & was simply reporting it.
      If I’m confused about what it does, just ignore me

        I believe all users here, especially me, owe you a deep debt of gratitude!
        Thank you for reporting all the 27.1 issues and saved us (especially me) a lot of time. I was in the frontline and I understand the frustration on receiving some zen-like responses.
        The Ninja community should feel lucky to have you as part of it.

          Hello brucerobinson,

          That does appear to be an oversight and I have reported this to our development.

          Once I have a tracking ID for this I will post in this thread for future reference.
