NT Bar Timer does not match chart time frame

The bar timer is inaccurate. Using a 1 minute chart and when a new chart bar starts the timer resets to 1:43 and counts down to :43. That is a minute of countdown but why is it doing it in that time window. This happens the same way on other time frames. On a 2 minute chart the timer starts at 2:43 and resets at :42 to :45. Seems a little more random on that chart but close. This seems to have started recently. I have tried a 3rd party timer and it acts the same way. Any ideas?

    Hello rafleischman,

    Thank you for your post.
The Bar Timer is likely out of sync, due to your PC clock.

Please use the steps below to change/check your Time Zone and sync the PC clock:
    • Shutdown NinjaTrader
    • Right-click the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop
    • Select Adjust date/time
    • For Windows 10 click 'Date, Time, and regional formatting' -> Then click 'Additional date, time, and regional settings' -> then click 'Set the time and date'
    • Select the 'Internet Time' tab at the top
    • Set the server to time.nist.gov and then click Update.
    • If the message that appears says successful your PC clock should now be updated.
    • If not, select a different server from the Server: drop-down and try again (repeat until one of the servers is successful)

After updating the PC clock, please restart NinjaTrader, then right-click the chart and select Reload All Historical Data.

Consider using a tool like this one:

Thank you guys. I will check out that site Danny. I'm a bit embarrassed I did not think to try such a simple fix. Syncing the computer clock worked perfectly. I'm guessing the automatic DST change is when this problem started. You can always rely on these computers to mess things up when set to do something automatically. I appreciate your quick reply. Happy New Year.
