    how to reduce big data on my platform

    Hello supportteam,

    I got many lines and charts open. My plattform loads very slow (30min) I have to wait until I can see the charts. How can I delete all the trendlines in 1 click ? so that the data gb goes down ?

    Thank you for the note.

    If it is taking that long to open NinjaTrader, this would imply that your workspace is very complex with multiple indicators and drawings within it that are taking a long time to load in.
    • It sounds like it might be easiest to just make a New Workspace, Save it, Restart NinjaTrader, and then rebuild from there while being aware of the workspaces performance and load time.
    • It only takes me 13 seconds to open NinjaTrader, connect to market data, and load in 4 charts within some default NinjaTrader indicators on them for comparison.

    Unfortunately, there is not an easy 1-click method to just remove all of the "Trend Lines" specifically.
    • There is only the ability to remove all of the Drawing Objects from a chart with 1-click
      • Right-click on the chart > Drawing Tools > Click "Remove all drawing objects"

    You could right-click on a chart > Drawing Tools menu > Drawing Objects... > Click and remove all of the trendlines from here

    If the Trend Lines are "Global Drawing Objects" then you could remove all of the Global Drawing Objects from the platform manually from the files as well:
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Go to the Documents Folder > NinjaTrader 8 > templates > Drag the "GlobalDrawingObject" folder to the Desktop and drop it there
    • Reopen NinjaTrader.

    Otherwise, you will want to start with a New Workspace and rebuild from scratch while being aware of the performance and load time. You could save the workspace and restart NinjaTrader after adding something new to see how it affects the load time of the platform. If you add/change something and then it takes a lot longer to load in, the last thing you did would be the cause.
