basic price alerts

Hi,
Many of us trade numerous symbols but have no way to create basic price alerts without having dozens of charts open. Please tell me NT is working on this basic functionality or post your best workaround. I can't think of a single platform other than NT that doesn't have this as it's own window. It's weird that NT doesn't.

You can use a market analyzer window to create price alerts which happen for any instrument in the list. That would let you compare any of the columns you have displayed in the analyzer window.

For more complex alerts that may only be available in a chart you could make an indicator which does any number of conditions and apply that to a single chart. That indicator can load multiple timeframes or instruments and execute its logic for each of those series. The indicator would produce the alerts its self rather than using the charts alert window. That would let you have open just 1 chart for the alerts.
