error message when loading a new script

today saturday 12-17 i got an error message when i tried to import a ninja script. the error was as follows: You have custom Ninjascript files on your PC that have programing errors.
These errors must be resolved before you can import a Ninjascript Archive file.
i don't know what this message means or how to find out what file is causing the problem. i was trying to import a file update on a ninjascript i have had on my PC for months. Ninja has accepted all the imports successfully so i don't know what the problem is or how to fix it. please help.
    thanks
    phil

    Hello Phil,

Please follow the instructions below to see where the errors are coming from after compiling your NinjaScript files. This will allow you to debug the indicator/strategy or remove it from your PC.
    • Open NinjaTrader
    • From the Control Center select the New menu--> select NinjaScript Editor
    • Right-click in the window and select Compile to compile all NinjaScript objects
    • At the bottom of the NinjaScript Editor window, a new section will appear where you can find the error locations
    • You can exclude the file referenced in the editor by double-clicking on the appropriate object type on the right of the NinjaScript Editor window. This will expand the object type folder. You can then select the file with a left-click--> right click on the object--> then select Open to begin debugging the file, Exclude From Compilation, or Remove to delete the file.
If you are unsure as to what the error is indicating, please post a screenshot of the NinjaScript File column and Error column fully visible (not to be confused with the Code column)
    • To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's, Snipping Tool.
    • Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

          Hello Jason.

          Hope you are doing great.
I have a problem with exporting a Ninja Script Add On in order to have an automated trading log.

I have tried unsuccessfully to do it myself.
After reviewing some troubleshooting in the web, I need you to help me. Its an urgent matter.

I am operating on a Mac mini, using the M1 chip and parallels.
          Here are the details below.

I am trying to install either of these two programs, SwissNet of TradeViz

But I get this message, below.

I am getting this CODE CS1504 issue when I run the NinjaScript Editor, and here is where I don’t know what else to do.

Please help me get this resolved.
          Thanks!

            Hello GD,

Can you please post a screenshot of the compiling error message. Make sure the text in the NinjaScript File column and Error column is fully visible (not to be confused with the Code column).

                Hello Phil,

Can you please shut down NinjaTrader and navigate to the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8-->bin-->Custom-->DrawingTools folder. Delete the @Lines.cs file.

Download the NinjaTrader 8.0.27.1 installer file from the link below.

Double click the NinjaTrader.Install file and repair NinjaTrader.

Once NinjaTrader is repaired, please start NinjaTrader and check if these compiling errors persist.
