Interactive Brokers Connection Issue

Hi,

I have setup two connections for Interactive Brokers gateway. One for my live account and the other for my paper trading account. I selected the password to be auto-filled from the Ninjatrader connection screen and entered the correct ports 4001 and 4002 for the two connections.

If I connect to live and then disconnect and connect to the Paper Trading connection, Ninja Trader still connects to live. This also happens if I first connect to Paper Trading and then disconnect and try to launch live. Whichever connection I was on last it will still connect to that connection no matter which of the connections I select. The only way I can change connections is to manually launch and login to IBKR gateway outside of Ninjatrader.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, when there are multiple Interactive Brokers connections, there is no way to avoid this. You will simply need to launch TWS first and sign in prior to connecting in NinjaTrader.
