    Workspaces Folder

The Workspaces drop down doesn't include an option to create subfolders.
I would like to create a separate, standard Windows folder and store workspaces which I could paste into and cut from NT.
I would, of course, create the actual workspace in NT.
If that's doable, could you please tell me how.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    Hello Stephen,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

There is not a way to create sub-folders in the Workspaces menu within the platform. Workspaces are stored on your PC at C:\Users\<yourusername>\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces. If you create any sub-folders in this folder, they will not be visible in the Workspaces in the platform. If you are looking to make copies of workspace and saved them elsewhere, they can be copy/pasted from this folder into other locations on your PC. You just need to make sure the platform is closed if you are ever manually adding or removing workspaces from this folder.

      Thanks, Zachary.

      I can't find the folder.

      Below
      <yourusername>\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\
there's only one continuation path and no workspaces folder or workspace files along that path:
      C:\Users\sgord\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Ranger

Any other thoughts as to where it might be?

        Hello Stephen,

        Thank you for your reply.

If yours isn't saved to the standard location, it's hard for me to say where it would be since that would mean that you've redirected the Documents folder to another location. Perhaps you have everything being saved to OneDrive, in which case, the file path would include OneDrive.

#sgordet - right click on the Documents icon in the folder tree under ThisPC in LH Explorer pane, then choose Properties and you will see the Path of where it is located

            Thank you, Zachary and Bruce.
It was under OneDrive, but not the OneDrive folder I use. I wouldn't have found it without Bruce's suggestion.
            Again, thank you both.
