    Indicators Button Crushes Platform

    Hi there

    Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

    The problem started after I deleted a version of one of my indicators.

    So, now, every time I click on the indicators button, the platform crushes.

    I reached out to NT support. They advised a reinstall, which I did, but the issue was not resolved.

    As this issue started just before the US Thanksgiving holiday, I have not had a response yet, hence why I am asking on the forum.

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    If you have a ticket open with our support, please make sure to let them know that their resolution did not work so that we know the ticket was not resolved and can proceed with further troubleshooting.

    To me, it sounds like something may have gone awry in the uninstallation process for the indicator. Did you remove said indicator using the Tools > Remove NinjaScript Assembly utility?

    Additionally, do you experience the same behavior with the Indicators menu/button in Safe Mode?

    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
    Once you have opened the platform in safe mode:
    • Reconnect to your data provider from the 'Connections' menu
    • Please open a new chart and attempt to add an indicator to test for issues.
      • Please note this will not delete your workspace however the new blank workspace will be named Untitled. If you have a workspace already named "Untitled," however, you will not want to save the workspace when exiting NinjaTrader, otherwise, it will overwrite it.
