Connection Error - NinjaTrader Continuum

Hi there,

I was using the free version of NJ8 without any issues but today when I opened my platform I got the following error:



Now when I go to the connection tab, I don't even see the NinjaTrader Continuum option anymore on the list:



How can I resolve this issue? Is it like there are no free versions of NJ8 anymore?

Based on this error message, I suspect your platform was not able to reach our licensing servers.

As a first step, please restart your PC and modem/router, as this would reset all routing tables and resolves most connection issues.

If you still experience this issue after the restart, please send us through log & trace files, and we can best assist further. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
• Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder
• Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to support (at) ninjatrader (dot) com
  • To ensure we can associate your email with this post, please mention "ATTN Manfred" in the message
• Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders
