Stop orders disappear when closing in sim mode

Hi,

When I place Stop market or Stop limit orders on my chart and then close the software, these orders disappear in simulation mode. Only the entered positions remain. Is it normal? Does it also happen when placing orders on a real account?

Thank you for the post.

The pending simulation orders should still be there at the price they were placed at when it reopens. This is because the Sim101 orders do not fill unless the platform is open (since they don't actually exist at the market). For live orders, this will depend on the order status.


If the order is in a working and accepted state, they live at the exchange and would remain active if you were to close the platform. However, it is possible for them to fill while the platform isn't open so they are still at market.
