    Weird message about the date/time format

    Hi all.

    (In addition to several problems with NT 8)

    In he Log, I'm seeing this message

    Received unknown error/warning: End Date/Time: The date, time, or time-zone entered is invalid. The correct format is yyyymmdd hh:mm:ss xx/xxxx where yyyymmdd and xx/xxxx are optional. E.g.: 20031126 15:59:00 US/Eastern Note that there is a space between the date and time, and between the time and time-zone. If no date is specified, current date is assumed. If no time-zone is specified, local time-zone is assumed(deprecated). You can also provide yyyymmddd-hh:mm:ss time is in UTC. Note that there is a dash between the date and time in UTC notation.

    What is the problem???

    That is due to having the wrong version of TWS installed, I see on another post you were able to find and install the correct version.

      Hello Adrian,
      I have the same weird message today with latest NT 8.0.26.1 and TWS 10.19.1g . It work very well until yesterday and I did not touch anything. I follow your instruction to install the latest version of TWS 10.20.1c but still getting the same error message.
      So anyone can tell which combo version that work together well ?

        Thank you for your post.

        To properly receive data and make trades through IB using NinjaTrader 8, you will need to use TWS or IB Gateway 10.16.1k, which may be downloaded directly from our IB Connection Guide linked below:

        Interactive Brokers Connection Guide

        Once you have downloaded the updated version of TWS/IB Gateway required to work with IB in NinjaTrader, continue to follow along with that Connection Guide to ensure that everything is set up and enabled for the two programs to communicate and work correctly with one another.

        Using NinjaTrader 8 with any other version of the IB platform will result in unexpected behavior as these versions are not officially supported. Your IB software will also refrain from automatically updating when downloaded from our Connection Guide.

          Problem solved with TWS 10.16.1k . downloaded from NT connection guide.
