    VERY slow market replay data downloads

    This is a new problem that im having which is that when attempting to download a day worth of market replay data it takes FOREVER to actually download. Im talking like 5-10 minutes. It takes so long that I thought it was actualy frozen.

    It used to take like maybe 15-20 seconds to download a days worth of data, and maybe 3-4 minutes to go through and download a weeks worth of data a day at a time.

    Can anyone assist?

    Thank you for your post!

    Please go to Help > About in your NinjaTrader Control Center and ensure that you are on the current 8.0.26.1 version of NinjaTrader 8. If you need to update, please follow the steps below:
    • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help > License Key then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on the link: https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Select 'Download'
    • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
    ​I would also recommend clearing out old historical and cache data by doing the following:
    • Shut down NinjaTrader 8
    • Go to the 'Documents/NinjaTrader 8/db' folder on your computer
    • Remove the files within the 'cache', 'day', 'minute', and 'tick' folders
    • Important: Do not remove any other files within the NinjaTrader 8 Documents folder
    ​If the issue still occurs after the above, I'd like to review your log and trace files. Since these contain personal data, I'd prefer that we continue working via email.

    Please follow the steps below to send in your log and trace files with a support case so I may investigate this matter further:
    • You can do this by going to the Control Center > Help > Email Support and ensuring "Log and Trace files" is checked.
    • Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Kennedy" note in the message along with a link to this forum post.
