Stop Orders in Pre-Market / After-Hours Trading

Good day,

Are Stop Orders placed in NinjaTrader 8 before the market open (9:30 AM EST) and after the market close (4:00 PM EST) effective for "Futures" trading (I know they are not for stocks, but not sure about future contracts)?

I would recommend reaching out to your broker for margin requirements, but as long as you are within margin and the above trading hours, you should be able to place orders at those times for Futures. I've also provided our NinjaTrader blog post below on the different order types if needed:
