Possible to Chart Open/Close of Candles at Specific Prices?

Is there a way I can chart candles that only open/close at say, every 100pt price levels? Or every 10pts, or whatever?

Hi Chapter7,

Open up your Data Series window and select "Range" in the Data Series | Type dropdown. For the Value put in the number of ticks you want each bar to be.

I got that- but I want them to open/close on a specific price level. ie- 10600 for NQ, etc.

Sorry, not sure on that one. You might need to create a custom bar type.

I'm not quite certain how this would work.

However, you could try creating a custom bar type and hard code price values in conditions to close the bar by calling AddBar().

The bar types included with NinjaTrader are open source (except for Volumetric bars).
