Trade Copier Cores/Threads

I trade multiple accounts using a trade copier, but am running up against the single-core issue as a limiting factor and sometimes huge slippage/failure to fill. I am considering adding a second trade copier to see if it would execute in a separate core/thread to mitigate this risk in the follower accounts. So I would still execute trades in a single leader account, but split the follower accounts between the 2 trade copiers.

Are there any known reasons that would make this not a good idea?
Assuming I do add a second copier, how can I determine which cores/threads each copier is running in?

How fast is your computer?
Perhaps a faster computer would be better.

How fast is your internet?
Each order replication into each follower account
is using your internet connection to communicate
with your broker's servers ... obviously the faster
the better -- some ISPs offer packages that are
1Gbit download and 1Gbit upload -- my point is,
having upload speeds greater than 25 Mbits might
make a bigger difference than just increasing the
download speed -- 1Gbit upload is insanely fast,
I've usually seen this available with fiber internet
services.

If you can execute a second instance of your current
trade copier, you can certainly experiment and find
out how well it works -- otherwise, have you directed
your questions to the authors of the trade copier?

Hi jculp, thanks for posting.

Each addon window gets initialized on the UI thread then becomes its own thread and any instrument update methods for all ninjascripts on the same instrument would be updated from the instrument thread. The developers of the trade copier would need to confirm if this would improve performance.
