Feature Requests- Auto Cache Clearing?

A menu option to automatically clear the data cache on a weekly or daily schedule?

We don't recommend clearing the cache on a schedule or as a general maintenance item. While clearing the cache and historical data can certainly correct some data-related issues in certain circumstances, it should only really be done when at our staff's instruction. With that said, I'd still be happy to submit your feature request to our development team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your request once it's created.

Instead of on a weekly or daily schedule, how about just putting it in Tools -> Database Management, right below Reset DB and Repair DB which are both for use as instructed by support. The new option would read "Clear Cache" and when chosen would clear the cache. This would make it easier on support by giving them a way to do exactly what needs to be done without having to browse into the folder structure. There is a "cache" folder in addition to a "db -> cache" folder, so there is a reasonable possibility they'll delete the wrong one if they haven't done this before.

Same goes for strategyanalyzerlogs. Having tens of thousands files really slow down strategy analyzer. I got batch file to clean that folder.

Good point. A cleanup button for that could be added as well.
