Draw a horiztonal line at a specific time

Hi everyone, how could I automatically draw the line at a specific time every trading day? Is there any existing indicator/ method that fits this purpose? E.g. draw a horizontal line at 12:15 a.m. every trading day and the horizontal line covers the coming 8 bars areas.

You would most likely have to create your own indicator for this. While the time part is no issue you would need to determine the Y value (price) to draw the line at.

Here is a like to the help guide for Draw.Line where you can specify the start time, end time, the start Y and the end Y. By keeping the Y value the same for each you would be drawing a horizontal line.

Here is a basic guideline on how to import NinjaScript add-ons in NinjaTrader 8:

Note — To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, and keep them in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu Tools > Import > NinjaScript Add-on...
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

• Right-click your chart > Indicators... > Select the Indicator from the 'Available' list on the left > Add > OK

Once set up, you may then enter the exact time (and color) that you would like to mark every day. If you need more than 3 individually marked timeframes, you may also add the indicator several times:

Thanks a lot for your help. To clarify, I would like the chart to draw a line horizontally for resistance or support purposes. E.g. at 9:30 a.m. every day, the chart adds a line from the opening of the first bar so that I could know where does the market open and refer to it easily.
