Alert when price gets close to object ie MA

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to get an alert when the price gets within X amount of ticks of an object. Like the 21 EMA for example. Not a crossover or touch, but as it approaches the object in real time. Not at the close or open of the bar either.
Is this possible?

Unfortunately, this will not be possible using the built-in Alert conditions as these can only be triggered based on a crossover of two objects in some way. For this type of behavior, a custom or 3rd-party NinjaScript would be required to have an Alert trigger based on an "approach" calculation.
