share services email

Hello,

I wanted to work with share services to send emails but ti doesnt work when I set it for gmail. I found notes from year 2019 where I wrote down that one has to allow less secure apps in google so that it works with Ninjatrader, but this it not possible anymore from my understanding.

What has to be done to use gmail please?

Currently, we are limited in the amount of support we can provide for Gmail and other email Share Services due to the security settings involved. If you have followed all of our other NinjaTrader 8 Forum — Share Services Overview settings for Gmail and added 2-factor Authentication for your Google account but do not receive emails from NinjaTrader, we recommend reaching out to Google's support directly to ensure the SMTP is setup correctly as it may require changes to security that affects your entire Google account and falls outside the scope of NinjaTrader 8.
