ATM Strategy on DOM

I tested in sim to see if this would work it did not. I want to trade two different ATM at same time. but when both get filled it changes targets to the closes one. In this case 8 ticks. I have two ES DOM open at same time each with different ATM S but it combined them. Is this a problem with your platform? I do this on other platforms all the time with no problems Thanks

Thank you for your inquiry.

If you intend to use multiple ATM strategies at once, I recommend that you avoid using the same instrument or account at the same time as they will both change the same account position.
While testing two different ATM strategies at the same time, you should use a different simulation account for each strategy.
You can create an unlimited number of simulation accounts in NinjaTrader.

Steps to Create Multiple Simulation Accounts
1. Open the NinjaTrader Control Center
2. Select the Accounts tab
3. Right-click on the accounts tab and select New simulation account...
4. Configure your new account and click the OK

Eduardo, Thanks for reply. Not sure you understood my post. I already trade two or 3 different ATM Strategies on one real account on a different platform. I have 3 DOM open at same time for the same market. The DOM keep all ATM S separate they don't merge them together as NT8 is doing. Clearly a problem in the NT8 platform that needs to be fix. In this market it is silly not to do this . I catch a trend day with stops and targets. on a second DOM I scalp in the direction of the trend every pull back taking profits the whole way. This is called hitting the market when it's going your way.
Are you saying NT8 is incapable of doing this??
The reason I did it in Sim today was to try and set it up and see how it works thereby when I am live trading with real money I don't make a error that costs me money. That is the purpose of sim trading learning the platform. Do you understand??

Other platforms may handle strategies differently than NinjaTrader.
Strategies in NinjaTrader need to be synchronized to your account position to function properly. With multiple strategies in use, it is possible for the position of one or more of the strategies to be out of sync with the position of an account.

I read everything you sent. I came to NT back in 2008-9 from TS. Don't remember if there was a 5 or 6 but for sure there was NT7 then NT8 big improvements. Before NT purchase a clearing firm it was all about selling the Platform which I purchased. I guess now it's all about the brokerage firm. I am not going say any names. This weekend I sent out some emails to other platforms asking if they do what I want. I received two email today and it's early in the morning both said yes, with instructions how. and free invitations to use their platform free for 30 days. NT may want to see what is out there and think about a NT9. What I am asking for is old school, now they have algoes trading built right into, platforms. Just saying time to catch up to the new normal. Respectful thank you for your time
